The guardian must create a verified account and expressly authorize the process. We maintain auditable records of all parental authorizations.

• Form DTOP-DIS-255
• Medical Certification (DTOP-DIS-260, valid ≤ 6 months)
• Social Security: Original or alternate documents (W-2, SSA-1099)
• Birth Certificate (2010 onward) or valid passport
• Proof of address (≤ 2 months). If not in your name, submit DTOP-DIS-156 + ID
• School Certification (if you are under 18)

It evaluates your knowledge of traffic laws. It is recommended to study the Puerto Rico Vehicle and Traffic Law Review.

You must drive accompanied by a person ≥ 21 years old with a valid license.

Allowed hours: 6:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.

The initial management and follow-up are carried out completely online. However, CESCO/DTOP may require an in-person appearance for certain procedures according to their current regulations. We will notify you immediately if your specific case requires an in-person appearance.
